If you have infinite money then yes it is worth it, but in general it is not. I believe u/sick_nerd only uses an abyssal tentacle on smoke devil tasks because cannon does the majority of damage. It is created by combining a kraken tentacle with an abyssal whip.
Understanding the Context
It is an upgraded variant of the whip, having a +8 increase in slash and +4 increase in strength over its predecessor. Why is the fang preferred over the abyssal tentacle and even whip vs duke?? I would think the increased attack speed and slash bonus would be more beneficial? Fang is accurate at many.
