You are usually only able to opt out of one time debit card overdrafts. Any scheduled automatic or ach payments can still overdraft the account. Usually even if they decline the transactions.

Question is, i’ve seen friends that have this use venmo and overdraft few hundred or so when they had nothing as well has others go to atm. How does td determine your overdraft amount ?
